Quality, maintenance, productivity & ergonomics to meet professional user demands
Scanning A1-sized documents, books and large-format originals imposes strict requirements on scanning systems regarding maintenance, image quality, throughput and workload management. Rare, fragile and valuable antique volumes demand ultra-gentle handling without compromising system flexibility or ergonomic design. Featuring adjustable lens height, automated scanning workflows and motorized descending pressure platen, the ISCAN IS9000 fully satisfies all digitization requirements.

Our lens delivers color-accurate scans compliant with SRGB, Adobe 1998 RGB, ECI RGB V1 and ECI RGB V2 color spaces, effortlessly meeting all requirements of digitization guidelines, specifications and standards.
Advantages of True Color: Unlike 24-bit color scanning that generates ICC profiles via calibration software with X-Rite ColorChecker, True Color leverages full-range calculation and adjustment within the proprietary lens imaging area, featuring 48-bit color capture and analysis depth.
Color information is captured with higher precision while signal noise is minimized.
Image Quality: Scan outputs fully compatible with METAMORFOZE, FADGI and ISO/TS 19264-1:2017 cultural heritage digitization standards.
UV/IR-free cold light illumination system. Illumination intensity below 2,500 lux with a service life exceeding 50,000 hours, complying with eco-friendly preservation standards. The self-developed Fresnel lenses equipped on ISCAN lighting units represent a core technical advantage over conventional lighting systems, delivering uniform light distribution and even illumination.
It effectively eliminates unwanted gradients and glare on glossy surfaces, dark substrates and reflective materials.
Two operating lighting modes:
1) Flash Mode: Lights briefly brighten during scanning and dim immediately after capture. Avoids overheating the workspace caused by constant illumination and extends the service life of light assemblies.
2) Constant Illumination Mode: Lights operate at low bias voltage as required without flash boost.
Three operation modes for the glass platen:
1) 180° Fixed Mode with locked glass platen
Indispensable for variable-pressure, convenient scanning of archives and wrinkled documents. Operators have both hands free to smooth or flatten originals, while the motorized pressure-controlled book cradle rises to support the glass platen from below.
2) Auto-Open Mode
Suitable for documents and books up to 10 cm thick with zero manual intervention for page flattening or holding wrinkled pages. After the book cradle lifts, the glass platen automatically opens post-scan and closes again after page turning for high-volume production scanning.
3) Motorized Auto Open/Close (Optional)
Optional premium configuration with precision motors. The glass pressure platen closes via foot switch and automatically reopens after scanning completes.
